New Farmers Market @ Windemere Neighborhood.

Today was the opening day of the San Ramon Farmer's Market at Sports Park, Windemere.... And It was total FUN!!

This new market will run Wednesdays from 3 PM to 8 PM through October 30,2013. Just to begin with, the market will feature over 20 vendors with locally grown produce, hot prepped foods, artisan breads and cheeses, local meats and flowers.Market founder , Harvindar Singh has been farming Asian produce on 6 acres near Fresno and grow over 150 varieties of vegetables including red cane sugar, Japanese eggplant, cucumbers, Jerusalem artichokes, ginger and dozens more as well as 15 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. They are excited to showcase some of their Asian delights as well as provide a platform for other artisan vendors, farmers and craftsman.There was other attractions like- music band , Rudy A-a Balloon Twister , Fresh Flowers and  happy San Ramon neighbors.

This is a great way to connect with nature and provide support to local vendors and farmers.Moreover for Windemere / Gale Ranch residents and neighbors, its an opportunity to collect fresh farm produce on their way back home ,save time and eat fresh...
